We at Lakemont Ridge feel that we have created a large, friendly family. Our park now consists of 365 sites in the original section, and 156 sites in the new section. We have added two fully stocked fishing ponds (catch & release ONLY) for our registered guests' use. All of our large grassy sites are full-hookup, 30/50 amp electric, and have paved driveways and patios. Amenities: dump station, mail service, laundry, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, handicap accessible bath/shower house, and a large pool with spa jets. In 2010 we opened our new office and rec. hall which includes bathrooms and laundrymat. Our clubhouse was enlarged and improved in 2006, and we have added a nice screened room near the pool. We have a fully equipped kitchen, used for weekly coffee gatherings, holiday dinners, pot luck dinners, pancake suppers, parties, etc. The clubhouse features live entertainment during the winter season. We also have: line dancing classes, musical jam sessions, square dance lessons, chorus, a computer club, bi-weekly movie night, card playing, billiards, dartboards, etc. We have Sunday morning services each week. There are many other planned activities such as golf outings, cruises, trips, etc. There are four major airports within a two hour drive from Lakemont Ridge.

Lakemont Ridge is located midway between Lake Wales and Avon Park. Traveling South on US 27, turn left at the TRAFFIC LIGHT at CR 630. Go East on CR 630 (Fort Meade Road) for about 3/4 of a mile. The park entrance is on the right hand side of the road. You can not miss our entrance. The office is ahead on the right. Welcome.

We are a secure, gated 55+ park. The gates close and lock at 6 P.M. Late arrivals, please phone ahead. The park speed limit is 10 MPH, and is VERY strictly enforced. We are a pet-friendly park; however, we will not allow any aggressive breed dogs.
