Local Attractions: Just a few minutes away by land or water from the Land Between the Lakes, a recreational area consisting of 170,000 acres of land and water for public use, offering all types of water sports, hunting, fishing, camping and hiking.

GPS: 36.771946N, -88.213734W From the east: Take Highway 68/80 West through Land Between the Lakes, across the Tennessee River (Kentucky Lake) to Aurora, KY. Stay on Highway 68 through Aurora. At Junction 68/402, take 402 to the left. Continue 3.5 miles and turn right onto Pirates Cove Road (at the sign) and proceed 1/2 mile to the office. From the west: Follow Highway 402 East from Hardin, KY for 5 miles, then turn left onto Pirates Cove Road and proceed 1/2 mile to the office.

Pirates Cove Resort Notes

Open March-November (all weather permitting, call for details). P.A. discount is not valid Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. Reservations not accepted. Please call to check availability. No credit cards accepted. Compliance with Campground Rules is mandatory. Office hours are 9 AM through 5 PM, daily during summer, but limited winter. Lodge rooms and cabins available.
