From I-95: Take I-95 to Bangor. Take Exit 182A (formerly Exit 45A) to I-395 E. Take Rte 1A S, to Ellsworth. Continue on Rte 1A through Ellsworth. Rte 1A will become Rte 3 E when you cross Main St. Stay in right lane and continue for about 10 miles. After crossing a short bridge onto Mt. Desert Island, go left at the fork (towards Bar Harbor). Go for about a mile. CGt on the left.
From Coastal Rte 1: From the S: Continue on Rte 1 through Ellsworth on Main St. At the second traffic light, turn right on Rte 1A. Rte 1A will become Rte 3 E. Stay in right lane and continue for about 10 miles. After crossing a short bridge onto Mt. Desert Island, go left at the fork (towards Bar Harbor). Go for about a mile. CG on the left. From the N: Turn left (S) on Rte 3. Stay in right lane and continue for about 10 miles. After crossing a short bridge onto Mt. Desert Island, go left at the fork (towards Bar Harbor). Reservations required. Must call (888) 318-1243 for reservations. Open May 13th - October 10th. P.A. discount is valid Sunday - Thursday. P.A. discount is valid on Standard Sites only. P.A. discount is not valid during July and August. P.A. discount is not valid during holidays and/or special events. P.A. discount cannot be combined with any other discounts. *Plus tax.
