160 total sites, can accommodate RVs up to 45 ft, 20/30/50 amp service, 78 full hook ups, 69 electric/water, 3 restroom/shower facilities, laundry facility, Wi-Fi hotspot, firewood, ice, country store, hiking trails, swimming, boating, canoe rentals, pedal boat rentals, fishing, basketball, many sites with nice lake view, some campsites are on the lake with a private dock; 2 lakes: small lake with nice swimming beach, pedal boats, and small beach store and a large lake which extends to Dupont Forest and Hooker Falls, which is about a 1/2 hour canoe ride. Large lake has bass and other fish (Record bass for the lake is 9 3/4 lb caught in May of 2004). Lake is restricted to boat motors 12 hp motor or less and no pontoon boats. Area attractions include: Brevard-The Land of Waterfalls, Dupont State Forest, Triple Falls, High Falls, Hooker Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Looking Glass Falls, Sliding Rock, Cradle of Forestry Discovery Center, Pisgah Forest Fish Hatchery/Center for Wildlife Education, Brevard Music Center, Brevard Music Festival. Located 15 miles from Brevard, 20 miles from Hendersonville, and 40 miles from Asheville.

WARNING! If traveling from the south or west, do not use GPS system to locate park. It will lead you down a 12 mile gravel road!
Southbound: From I-26 take Exit 40 onto Highway 280 to Brevard (15 miles). Turn left at Highway 64 (east) and go 3.2 miles to Crab Creek Rd and turn right onto Crab Creek Rd. Go 2.2 miles and turn right on Cascade Lake Rd. Go 1.1 miles and turn left on LR Campground Rd and go 1 mile to campground. Northbound: From I-26 take Exit 49B and go west on Highway 64 (approx. 15 miles). Turn left on Crab Creek Rd. Go 2.2 miles and turn right on Cascade Lake Rd. Go 1.1 miles and turn left on LR Campground Rd and go 1 mile to campground.

Open from April 1 to October 31. Reservations by phone only (available M-F 9AM-5PM, and Sat 9AM-2PM), no online reservations: (828) 877-6625. P.A. discount is valid Sunday through Wednesday. P.A. discount is not valid during weekends or holidays. Credit cards accepted. Tent camping welcomed. P.A. discount is not valid for group sites & primitive sites. For information on Cancellation and Refund Policy, please call (828) 877-4475. Only two pets per site. All pets must be on a 6 ft leash, kept under control, and attended at all times. *Site prices are based on location and includes 2 adults. Children under 12 free. A charge of $2.00 per person per day with a max of 6 people on a site.
