This is a mountaintop campground, elevation 3500 ft., well maintained gravel drive up. 19 total RV sites. Can accommodate RVs up to 40'. Full hookup, 30 amp service, 50 amp available. Bath house, picnic tables, fire rings, pavilion, lots of hiking trails and places to explore. Centrally located in "The Land of Waterfalls" with its magnificent scenery and endless recreational opportunities. Nearby attractions include Pisgah National Forest, Nantahala National Forest, Gorges State Park, Horsepasture River, French Broad River, Whitewater Falls, Toxaway Falls, Courthouse, Looking Glass Falls, and numerous others plus the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cold Mountain, Shining Rock Wilderness, and Panthertown Valley. The Biltmore House at Asheville and the Indian Reservation at Cherokee are readily accessible. Located 16 miles from Cashiers and 20 miles from Brevard.

Take U.S. 64, From Brevard go west; from Cashiers go east - to Highway 281 North (DO NOT take Hwy 281 South at Sapphire). Follow 281 North 1.3 miles. Go left on Slick Fisher Rd. Follow Slick Fisher Rd 1.6 miles to campground entrance on left at intersection with Little Panthertail Rd.

Open April through October. P.A. discount is valid Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. P.A. discount is not valid on holidays. No alcoholic beverages outside your camper. Credit cards accepted. Dogs welcomed, must be leashed and cleaned up after. *Rate is for two adults and their children, additional charge for each extra person.
