After a hard day riding, Steel Steeds remains a non-traditional camping experience that offers most of the comforts of home. Full and partial hookups, shaded sites, restrooms, showers, laundry facility, dump station, picnic table, camp fire rings, river access for fishing, canoe rentals, bike wash facility, fishing poles for rent, and horseshoes. Available for purchase: fishing bait, firewood, and ice. Located 2.5 miles from Lewisburg, 25 miles from Williamsport, and just 30 minutes from the 7 mile Jacks MountainTrailhead at Bald Eagle State Forest.

From I-80, take exit 212, SR 147 south, approx 5 miles to the exit for SR 45. Follow 45 west for approx. 2 miles to SR 405 take a left onto SR 405 and follow for 1.5 miles campground is on right.
From the south, follow 11 north to SR 147 north to SR 405 north follow for 1.5 miles campground is on left.
