Camp along the South Branch of the Potomac River! We can accommodate RV’s up to 60’ long, 20/30/50 amp service available. 7 back-in sites have full hookups, 12 pull through sites with electric and sewer only (fill up with water and then pull on site), 12 electric only sites on the riverbank (fill up with water, dump on the way out), primitive tent sites galore! Bathhouse with 8 always-hot showers, store, pay phone - few cell phones work here), laundromat, are handicapped accessible. Other features: pavilion, playground, 3 horseshoe pits, ball fields, eagle and other bird watching, boating and tubing, fishing (license required). There are many things to see and do in our 4 state area of WV, MD, PA, and VA. We are rich in early American and Civil War history. We love to tell you where to find your favorite interests.

GPS: 39.467148N, -78.699309W I-68 to Cumberland, MD. Take Industrial Blvd Exit, 43B stay in the right hand lane, exit onto Canal Parkway to WV RT 28 south to Springfield, WV. Carefully cross 2nd elevated curve onto Springfield Pike, and go 1 1/2 miles. Then turn right onto Rt. 28/5 Milleson’s Road. Follow the road to the end (3 1/2 miles of gravel all weather road). It is about 14 miles from Canal Parkway to the Campground. From I-81 to VA 37 by-pass, to Rt. 522 north to 2 lane VA Rt. 127 to WV Rt. 29 to Rt. 50 west to Romney, WV (this route avoids the steep hills and curves you find on Rt. 50 west out of Winchester, VA). At second traffic signal in Romney turn right onto WV 28 north for 9 miles. Turn right onto Springfield Pike, go 1.5 miles, turn right onto 28/5 Milleson’s Road. Follow additional directions above to campground.

Open April 1st - November 1st. P.A. discount is valid Monday - Thursday only. P.A. discount is not valid Memorial Day, 4th of July or Labor Day weekends. Request one paid night in advance with reservation. Cash or check only. People friendly pets are allowed on leash. No ATVs allowed. Golf carts allowed with proof of insurance. *Plus tax. Rates are for 2 people, $5.00 additional charge for additional people and guests.
