We'll take you to the 66 Drive-in movie...once a drive-in, then a salvage yard, the 66 drive-in has been fully restored complete with the original ticket booth and neon lighting. We'll tour the headquarters of the "Precious Moments Chapel" near Carthage, and in Joplin we'll visit "Tri-State Trucking", one of the first to utilize Route 66. We also report on the "Solar Car Challange" that followed the mother road in ultra hi-tech solar powered cars. We'll visit the garage apartment that Bonnie and Clyde used as hideout until their discovery resulted in a shoot-out with police. At the Joplin museum we'll show you what Bonnie left behind. In Galena, Ks. we'll show you one of the original streches of Route 66 that remains unmodified to this day. In Riverton, Ks. we'll visit the Eisler Brothers general store that first opened it's doors before 66 was designated, and remains in operation today. (The manager will also sing "Get your kicks on Route 66" for our camera!) A few miles away, the last cement arch bridge has been preserved, and we'll interview the "caretaker". We also report on 2 more RV parks where you can stay while visiting the area.
RV USA TV reports on many RV parks and campgrounds in the greater Branson area. In addition, you'll see stories on Table Rock Lake, "Bear Bob's" chainsaw art, and more. We'll give you a little history lesson about Branson, "Ride the Ducks" for a closer view of the Lake and tour a home-made travel trailer on it's maiden voyage.

Whitewater Waterpark is also on our schedule and we'll take you aboard the Branson Belle paddlewheeler showboat. In addition, a visit the Silver Dollar City RV Park will blend a camping experience with comfort and convenience.
RV USA TV visits the beautiful Emerald Coast including Destin, Fort Walton Beach and Okaloosa Island...recently rated Florida's second most popular drive-to destination (next to Orlando). Stories include Henderson Beach State Park (campground and nature trail); marine life artist Wyland's whaling wall #88; Destin RV Beach Resort; and many other local points of interest. We'll also visit Carrabelle, on the eastern side of the panhandle in a area known as Florida's "Big Bend".
We'll visit Homosassa Springs State Park, home of the west indian manatee refuge. We'll tour the park, the refuge and wildlife sanctuary and travel the scenic Homosassa river. In Tampa, we''ll show you highlights and interviews from the Florida RV Trade Association's SUPERSHOW...the largest in the world with over 2000 RV's on display. A must-see for anyone interested in the past, present and future of RV'ing.
We'll travel to Florida's Space Coast. Willow Lakes RV and Golf Resort will be our home base while we visit the Kennedy Space Center, and the Caneveral National Seashore. Then it's off to Deland for the annual RV show and we'll show you the highlights including an Airstream motorhome with an overhead "observation" deck that includes a wet bar, grill and plush seating! In Daytona Beach it's Bike Week! We'll visit the beach where even RV's are welcome to drive. At the Daytona Speedway it's time for cycle racing and for more relaxed cruising we'll take you to the heart of Daytona's famous Bike Week. Over a half-million cycles pass through this city during a 3-week period every February and thousands bring their cycles in their "toy-hauling" RV's!
We'll start our program in Key West with a story on how the famous "Sunset Celebration" came about. In the middle keys we'll stay at Knights Key RV Resort overlooking the famous 7-Mile bridge. We'll show you the old and new bridges, Pidgeon Key, and take you on dive boat to visit the beautiful coral reef down-under. In the upper keys we'll visit John Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo and visit the reef once again on the glass-bottom boat tour. A visit to the park facilities and attractions concludes our Keys visit. Our next stop is just off the Florida turnpike at the Larry and Penny Thompson RV Park operated by Miami-Dade county. We'll visit the nearby Goldcoast Railroad Museum...home to famous and historic trains and located on a former Navy blimp base. Next, it's on to Miami's South Beach for a look at the historic art-deco district and a stroll on the scenic beach.
Summer in the Smokies is a very popular time and place for RV'rs to visit. In Pigeon Forge we'll take you on a special tour of Dolly Parton's "Dollywood" Attractions, including the "Dixie Stampede" dinner and show and "Splash Country" Water Adventure Park
We'll travel these beautiful mountains and show you some magnificent scenery and vistas. In Gatlinburg we'll visit "Cooters Garage" featuring props and unique items used in the television series "The Dukes of Hazzard" including one of the "General Lee" Dodge Chargers and a "sheriff's car" used in the original production. We'll interview actor Rick Hurst, aka. "deputy Cletus" from the series and more! We'll also report on two RV parks that cater to the thousands of RV'rs that pass through the area every month.
Georgia's largest State Park is very popular with RV'rs. , a huge dome of granite over 825 feet high and site of a sculpture larger than Mt. Rushmore, featuring three famous generals of the confederacy. Within this 3,200 acre park are miles of nature trails, forests, lakes, history and exciting attractions. We'll show you "Crossroads", an 1870's rural southern town, including a ride on the scenic railroad, the Great Barn, and the "Night on Stone Mountain" laser and fireworks show...projected on the side of the mountain for thousands to see every night!
We'll stay at the parks campground, located on a scenic lake with a magnificent view of Stone Mountain. We'll tour the mountaintop skylift, the paddlewheel riverboat, the antique car and treasure museum, the antebellum plantation complete with civil war re-enactors, the golf course and clubhouse, the old quarry where granite was cut and shipped to build famous structure around the world and listen to the Carillion that was part of the '64 Worlds Fair.
