Dear Passport people,
I was in the middle of planning our trip for 2008 and wanted to thank you for the magnificent job you've done on your website with maps and directions to all the campgrounds. You're head-over-heels over the competition. We are six year members of Passport America and plan to continue.
Dear Good People at Passport America,
I'm sorry to say - I will not be renewing my subscription to this great service you supply.
One time I had a problem with a campground & you took care of it immediately - for which I never thanked you - until now. It was several years ago - I don't remember what state I was passing through. Thank you.
Now, I must sell my unit due to circumstances. I've had many good times and met quite a few enjoyable people. I recommend you to anyone that sounds like they need you. You have made my travels safer and relaxing for my Jack Russell and me. Together we have crossed the U.S. 4 times by RV. Thank You again.
Hi, Just wanted to say "Nice Job" the new format is really great. We have been with the Passport America and My RV Mail Family for several years. Never has anyone been rude or annoyed with a question posed to them by us. Everyone we come in contact with in both businesses gives more than 100% and that makes us feel like we are part of the Family. Thank you. Good work.
In late October my wife and I were heading home to Cape Coral, Fl from spending the month of October in Cosby, Tennessee. As Passport America members we decided to spend the night at Fair Harbor RV Park in Perry, Georgia (just off of Interstate 75). What a delight! We were treated so nice by owners and campers at this campground that we stayed a second day and did some exploring of area. Fair Harbor RV Park is a real asset to Passport America showing great Georgia hospitality along with offering exactly what the ad states. Made us feel right at home. We have definitely found a campground to stay on our trips between Florida and points north. Keep up the good work of finding campgrounds like Fair Harbor RV Park for your roster.
Cape Coral, FL
We just returned from a 6 week trip. Our savings paid our dues 3 times over. We also found out that Passport America is the most respected of the 'half off' discount clubs. We have 2 others, but will not renew them.
We will soon have been a member of Passport America for 1 Year. We have used our membership and directory in several states at various sites. Our membership fees were paid for on our first night at an RV Park. We returned from a 2000+ mile adventure to up state New York and we used our Passport America membership at each stop. This was a great money saving trip. The reduced price at RV Parks helped make up for the high gasoline prices in New York. We are looking forward to many more money saving adventure trips. Oh yes, we gave several other campers Passport America's phone number so they could join. Keep up the good work.
I have today received your generous offer for renewal of our membership. I regret to say that it is not possible or practical for us to do so. We have ended our RVing, simply because we are no longer physically able to continue. Bluntly put, my body keeps reminding me that 80 yrs are not even as young as 75. We have disposed of our trailer and tow vehicle, and will only be traveling locally, if at all. While we were members we found that Passport America lived up to its promise and was very satisfactory. We are sorry to have to quit.
Letter to Portage Campground & RV Resort:
Just a short not to say, THANK YOU, for the very enjoyable recent stay at your park. My wife and I really enjoyed your facilities and kindness. The fish fry and dance will be the highlight of our journey across Canada. Marcelle and his wife were such amazing neighbors and we hope to meet them and you again in our travels. By copy of this letter to Passport America we are advising them if they had a star rating system yours would be 5 plus.
We joined Passport America this season after my husband retired in April. We have used the directory several times and it paid for itself with the first use. We have found the campground management very nice. We will definitely continue to use it and renew again.
We LOVE our Passport America membership and often share our satisfaction with other campers.
I'm writing to let you know that we think Passport America is one of the best investments we have made as RVers. We have been on the road since April 24, visiting the western states of our beautiful country, and have saved several hundred dollars through the use of our Passport America membership.
Just a quick note to tell you that it is Monday and all my sites are full. They are all Passport America Members. You do what you said, fill me up during the week. Thank you.

We have used our Passport America Membership for both one night layovers and for specific campgrounds and in all cases we not only saved significantly more than our annual dues but are extremely satisfied with the service/ attitude of the campground managers/owners. Keep up the fantastic work!

I wanted to let you know we just made a round trip across the USA and used your Passport America discount directory quite frequently. Over all, my yearly fee is well worth the program and I will definitely sign up again.
We signed up for Passport America in September, 2001 before going to Yellowstone. We stayed at a clean Passport America park with a pretty setting. We were pleased! We went to San Diego to visit our son. We saved $22 a night, so we have more than made up our initial membership fees - Actually, the 1st time we used it (Passport America Membership) at Yellowstone did it. Everyone has been super nice - parks excellent and we are very glad we joined Passport America. Thanks! Great Savings, Great RV Parks.
"As full-timers who have stayed in all 48 contiguous states, 470 different locations in just over 5 years, we put our 10-year membership in Passport America to good use. We just had another great stop at Wacky West RV Park in Valentine, NE, the City of Hearts, to see their 15th Annual Cowboy Poetry & Old West Gathering. Wacky West is a nice little "mom & pop" campground with full hookups, free cable t.v. and wi-fi, for $11/day plus tax. There's another similar RV park nearby, but with no cable t.v. nor wi-fi, only a Good Sam for $20/day. Not.
I teach a seminar for all the RV Life on Wheels Conferences, "RV Park & Campground Discounts & Memberships," covering most of the various programs and how to make a good purchase. I urge new extended and full-time RVers in particular to stay away from membership systems for their first year or two, since where and how they RV in the beginning may well change substantially during that early phase. But the one affiliation I do recommend is Passport America. Why? It costs only 2-3 nights stay to pay for itself and requires no lengthy contract nor thousands of dollars of outlay.
I also keep a large spreadsheet of all of these groups. The one that keeps growing is Passport America. Some are declining. Congratulations on your work to keep a net gain in parks."
Amber, I received your MyRVmail packet. Thanks for the instructions which were easy to read and understand. All systems seem to be working and I look forward to your service. After 61 years of regular mail delivery, I was a little apprehensive about Mail Forwarding. You've put my mind at ease. I also want to thank the other staff members who assisted me from the operators at Passport America to your staff.
As fulltime Workampers for three years we have found the Passport America Directory to be the perfect 'in-between' solution. Every season our membership pays for itself when we stop near my daughter's in Michigan after we leave our final summer Workamping assignment. Timber Trails RV Park relaxes its Passport America restrictions after Labor Day until they close for the season on October 1st which is an enormous help to our budget. This year we are delighted to see that Leisure Valley and Thunderbird resort north of Lawrence, MI have also joined PA. I've had the privilege of staying at all three and recommend them as worthy travel stops.
We would like commend the Passport Park we stayed in while we visiting the Kansas City area. The park is Basswood Resort, Platte City, MO. This is the best Passport Park we have ever stayed with. The Park had all the amenities you would need or want. It is in the hills of Platte City so it is on different levels. All of the sites we saw are level, paved or gravel with grass & walkways. The club rooms, showers, restrooms, grounds, laundry, etc. are kept tidy and clean. The management & staff are always courteous, friendly & helpful. It even has a lake. It is a lovely park, well maintained; I would recommend it to anyone. Some may be unaware of the qualities of this area & park because it is out of Kansas City but it is a great area and just minutes away from anywhere. We quickly learned which roads would take us where we wanted to explore. I would stay in this Park again when ever we are in this area.
